Tudo apontava para que Uncherted 4 arrecadasse o prémio de jogo do ano do The Game Awards 2016, por todas as suas nomeações mas, o título da Blizzard, Overwatch acabou por levar a melhor e acabou ele por se sagrar o grande vencedor.
O FPS multiplayer para além de ter vencido o galardão máximo ainda arrecadou o prémio de melhor multiplayer, consagrando-se o grande vencedor da noite. Nesta noite de prémios, também a Blizzard recebeu a estatueta de melhor estúdio.
